Justin paced around in a pair of flannel pants. It was Christmas morning and Serrica was finally sleeping. The last few days have been pure hell for the both of them. Justin never imagined withdrawal to be so painful. He had to watch the woman he loved endure pain and suffering. To see her beautiful face crumple in pain, to hear her scream out in need of another hit crushed his heart.

He walked around her lush eight million-dollar home and sighed. Tears were beginning to burn his eyes. The two of them had everything money could buy but the truth be told about it they were miserable. In the four years they have been seeing each other the two had accomplished so much in their careers but their personal relationship was failing. Money could not buy love or happiness. That is a proven fact.

Justin cracked, letting the salty tears slide down his cheeks as he picked up a famed photo of him and Serrica. They looked so happy. She looked so happy smiling brightly for Joey and his annoying camera that always captured the happy moments. He let a chuckle escape his lips. He could still recall that day, July twenty-second two thousand three to be exact. The day Serrica's debut album went platinum. She was so ecstatic and he could not help but be proud of her.

Serrica slowly stumbled into the family room where she found Justin studying a picture. She saw the tears slip from his eyes and gradually fall down his structured face. Careful not to disturb him she crept up behind him and snaked her arms around his waist, kissing his naked back and shoulder lightly. She intertwined her left hand in his while the other one rubbed various places on his upper body.

"I thought you were sleeping," he whispered placing the picture back in its previous place.

"I was but when I woke up you weren't there and I just couldn't go back to bed without you," Serrica said kissing his back again. "I love you and you make me feel safe," she confided.

He turned around to face her looking into her eyes; "I love you too."

Mere seconds later his lips danced lightly with hers in a passionate kiss. It had been so long since they had kissed that Justin had almost forgotten how sweet she tasted. He pulled away breathlessly, "I have something for you," he said giving her a light peck on the lips.

"Justin, you didn't have to--"

"Ah, ah, ah, I wanted to," he interjected shaking his index finger over her lips.

Grabbing her hand, he led her into the main living room where her huge Christmas tree stood tall and decorated. He motioned her to take a seat while he moved a few of the gifts to get the one he wanted. He gave it to her and then took a seat beside her as she up wrapped the gift. It was the most beautiful not to meant thoughtful gift she had ever laid eyes on.

"Oh God Justin," she gasped, "this is beautiful. Did you make this?" she questioned examining the fairly old looking paper that formed a photo album. Justin took her hand in his a giving it a squeeze.

"Yeah, I started making it while you were in the hospital," he sighed. "Sara while you were in the hospital, it killed me. I thought about our time together, how it seemed so short. I never thought I could lose you and when you were lying in that hospital bed it hit me that I had already lost you. I love you and I've loved you since the day I laid eyes on you. I didn't think it was possible for me to love someone after all that shit went down with Britney but my love for you surpasses anything I've ever felt before," he brought his hand up to caress her soft cheek.

"This was my way of showing you that I love you and that I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he smiled brightly," I wanna grow old with you Serrica."

Serrica giggled at his comment as she stood to her knees and pulled him closer, "I love you too, but your not proposing to me are you?"

Justin kissed her lips ignoring her last few words. His hands went into her long brown locks while she played at the waistline of his pajamas. Justin felt the tightening of his goin area and moaned. He broke away from the kiss short of breath; Serrica had on too much clothing. He quickly removed her oversized t-shirt and cotton shorts. Her body was a sight for sore eyes.
